Officially a Branch!

We have a **branch now! This is a big step in Krivoy Rog. We are so excited to move forward in Krivoy Rog, and her progression. All the members who have received callings are still excited. With the organization of priesthood quorum and relief society as well, I think we are going to have some great things in this area soon. I think the Elder Houghton was pretty stressed about being a branch president, and I think he still worries about it sometimes, but honestly who wouldn't worry about that.  We have been searching for a couple building for our branch and talking with a lot of people about different properties. I think we found the building we want though. Hopefully it will all work out.

We continually work hard as a district and set a few goals to improve ourselves in unity and our finding. I love how our district is able to work together so well. I see our district as a school of fish. All in synch like on big organism but all single individuals. The new missionary, Elder Dinehart is fitting in well here in Krivoy Rog as well.

With the festival, we ended up finding out that we have a couple more methods of getting good conversation with people on the street, which is exciting. We also have a couple of events that some of our contacts have planned that we plan on attending. We're still brainstorming on finding a new method to find instead of English, that is as effective as English (just for the sake of being prepared).

A couple of days ago we got stopped by some soldiers and had the most aggressive friendly conversation in my life. Everything about our conversation, body language and mannerisms were really aggressive, but everything that was said was really nice. It was really weird.

The work is fun, the weather is better, and the air is still factory city air. I can't complain.

Have a good one guys!
Love
- Elder Johnson

** The term "ward" in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is used to describe a congregation. Wards are usually made up of between 300-350 members (if there are too few members for a ward, the congregation is known as a "branch") all of whom live within a certain geographic area.
